Project Procurement Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our civil construction team as a Project Procurement Specialist.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating effective procurement strategies that support both business objectives and project success. They will develop and implement robust procurement plans, manage supplier relationships, and ensure compliance with regulatory authorities.

  • Developing and implementing procurement strategies;
  • Assisting the management team to create and implement the Project Management Plan;
  • Reviewing designs to ensure compliance with regulatory authorities;
  • Negotiating contracts, terms and pricing with suppliers and vendors;
  • Acting as a conduit for communicating information to consultants, authorities, site supervisors, construction workers and sub-contractors;
  • Resolving procurement-related issues such as delivery delays, quality discrepancies or payment issues.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have prior civil works experience or equivalent structural and/or engineering exposure.

You should also possess strong organisation, communication and negotiation skills, along with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.

Able to understand a project from start to finish and work with all component parts, teams and authorities will also be highly regarded.
