**Optical Assistant Opportunity**

We are seeking full time optical assistants to join our dynamic team in a busy optical practice.

Our practice provides essential services and has seen growth. We need to build on our strong and dynamic team, which has been certified as a Great Place to Work.

As an Optical Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in our stores, providing:

  • High-level customer service on the retail floor and assisting with frame selection and lens recommendations
  • In-depth product information and recommending appropriately
  • Managing our busy diary of customer appointments
  • Adjusting and fitting customers frames - ensuring our product exceeds their expectations
  • Ensuring merchandising standards are met, including general cleanliness of the store
  • Assisting optometrists with pre-screening assessments and contact lens teaches
  • Putting through sales of spectacles and contact lenses

As an Optical Assistant, we are looking for individuals with:

  • A self-starting attitude who enjoys variety and a busy environment
  • Enthusiastic and positive attitude
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong attention to detail
  • The ability to build genuine and supportive relationships with colleagues and customers
  • Work well within a team
