Early Childhood Funding Advisor Role Overview

The Early Childhood Funding Advisor is a key role within the Early Childhood Improvement Branch, responsible for providing program support services to funded agencies and regional staff. This position requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Provide high-quality customer service and advice to funded agencies and regional staff;
    • Maintain accurate records in relevant IT systems, ensuring compliance with business rules;
    • Support early childhood stakeholders, including kindergartens, long day care centres, and families, with funding queries;
    • Prepare documentation, manage records, and process information in line with policy guidelines;
    • Provide technical support to the branch.

This role involves working closely with the Senior Early Childhood Funding Advisor, who provides direction and guidance. The successful candidate will possess excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
