About the Company

Ivory Group is a leading environmental consultancy dedicated to making a significant impact on the environment while fostering a strong team culture and prioritizing employee development. With multiple offices along the New South Wales coast, we are seeking a Senior professional to be mentored into a leadership role for the Sydney division.

About the Position

This position will involve contributing to the growth of the Sydney division by assisting in multiple areas of contaminated land management. Specifically, you will support operational matters related to site assessments and remediation projects, mentor junior staff in contaminated land practices, and deliver high-quality work and expert advice to clients on complex contamination issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct contaminated land investigations, inspections, and surveys for hazardous materials and occupational hygiene sampling
  • Coordinate timesheets, contractors, and provide site supervision
  • Produce and prepare technical reports and proposals
  • Oversee laboratory activities
  • Manage and liaise with clients
  • Delegate, mentor, and train Junior Environmental Consultants and Engineers
Requirements
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Science or Engineering
  • Proven portfolio of work within contaminated land projects
  • Full C Class Manual Driver's Licence
  • Strong verbal and written communication ability
