EBR is seeking a Senior Environmental Scientist to lead our ecological assessment and management team. As Senior Environmental Scientist, you will be responsible for providing expertise in ecological assessment and management to a wide range of private and public sector clients.

About the Job
As Senior Environmental Scientist, you will oversee ecological field investigations, create reports, and conduct impact assessments. You will also supervise others and utilize your established contacts and networks for business development and marketing activities.
- Degree qualified ecologist with more than five years' experience, preferably within a consulting environment.
- BioBanking Accreditation (Requisite).
- Demonstrated botanical identification skills in previous occupation.
- Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.
- Decisive project management skills.
About the Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include performing work in the areas of ecological assessment, natural resource management, environmental impact assessment, permitting and approval processes. You will also provide project ecological management advice and oversight in relation to ecological legislation and consider a range of matters such as vegetation, surface water and groundwater impacts.
You will oversee construction activities, including on-site roles such as ecological site inspections. You will also be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with clients, colleagues, and government and private stakeholders. Additionally, you will manage and deliver projects on schedule, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
About the Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a degree in ecology or a related field and more than five years of experience in a consulting environment. You will also require BioBanking Accreditation and demonstrated botanical identification skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are also essential, as well as decisive project management skills.
