Our team of environmental scientists and ecologists work across a range of terrestrial, coastal, and riparian environments, providing expert advice and technical input on environmental impact assessments and approvals.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior or Principal level Environmental Consultant to manage our NSW team of environmental scientists and ecologists. The successful candidate will have a strong background in environmental impact assessments and approvals, with a focus on Sydney Basin ecology and ecological survey in the vegetation communities of NSW.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a small team of environmental scientists and ecologists, providing mentoring and guidance to junior members of the team.
  • Support our Technical lead and provide technical input on environmental impact assessments and approvals.
  • Lead terrestrial and riparian ecological field investigations, report preparation, and biodiversity assessments.
  • Provide advice and technical input on environmental impact assessments under NSW and Commonwealth Environmental Legislation.
  • Manage your own projects, including signing off on reports produced by junior team members.
  • Liaise and consult with Clients across NSW and nationally, and plan and undertake business development.

About You

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Senior or Principal level Environmental Consultant with a strong background in environmental impact assessments and approvals. The successful candidate will have a tertiary qualification in Environmental Science and/or ecology, with at least 8 years' experience in environmental impact assessments and approvals within a consulting environment.
