Orthopaedic Robotics Specialist

We are seeking experienced professionals to join our Joint Replacement team as Orthopaedic Robotics Specialists. This is a unique opportunity to become a key clinical partner in advancing orthopaedic surgery through the application of cutting-edge robotic technology.

This role plays a critical part in supporting orthopaedic surgeons in the planning and execution of robotic-assisted hip and knee replacements using advanced robotic platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the in-theatre expert for robotic-assisted procedures, providing technical and clinical guidance to surgeons and theatre staff.
  • Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure optimal use of the robotic platform during joint replacement surgeries.
  • Conduct pre-operative CT-based planning and segmentation to assist in surgical case preparation.
  • Maintain a high level of knowledge in orthopaedic surgical techniques, anatomy, and robotic technology.
  • Provide ongoing training and clinical support to hospital staff and surgical teams.
  • Travel across Sydney and surrounding areas to support multiple hospital sites.

This role requires a strong clinical background and a passion for surgical innovation. Ideal candidates may come from fields such as:

  • orthopaedic clinical support
  • biomedical science/engineering
  • medical device experience
  • operating theatre nursing/registered nursing experience
  • physiotherapy or allied health with surgical exposure
  • human movement or anatomy specialists with clinical experience
