Job Overview

The Citrix Systems Administrator is responsible for maintaining a complex Citrix environment. This involves utilising various tools to track system performance, diagnose user login problems and application crashes.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Monitor System Performance: Utilise tools to track CPU, memory, disk usage and session statistics.
  2. Troubleshoot Issues: Diagnose and resolve user login problems, session slowness and application crashes by analysing system logs and alerts.
  3. Optimise Performance: Fine-tune Citrix policies, load balancing and resource allocation; recommend infrastructure or configuration improvements to enhance system efficiency.
  4. Support Capacity Planning: Monitor usage trends to forecast resource needs and assist in scaling the Citrix environment to meet growing demand.
  5. Ensure Security and Compliance: Maintain secure access to virtual desktops and applications and monitor for unauthorized access or suspicious activity.
Requirements and Skills
  • Experience with administering, configuring and monitoring complex multi-domain Citrix environments.
  • Proficient experience with operational support and technical project involvement.
  • Knowledge of computer security procedures and protocols.
