Virtual Desktop Infrastructure Expert

Leverage your expertise in virtual desktop infrastructure to contribute to the development, deployment, testing and maintenance of ICT systems and network services supporting modern mobility solutions for senior government officials.
About This RoleAs a system infrastructure specialist, you will be responsible for expanding the existing network, computing systems, desktop delivery solutions, complex gateway services, cloud services, and secure mobility solutions. You will work under broad direction from stakeholders to achieve this goal.
Key Responsibilities- Design, test and deploy new versions of the Windows operating system.
- Build and maintain system images and provide integration for VMware and Citrix VDI Platforms.
- Integrate and support management of security software and configurations.
- Provide and develop VM image and template automation.
- Implement VDI performance monitoring and tool tuning for a dynamic network environment.
- Develop and operate a backup and recovery service for virtualised Windows systems.
- Administering Omnissa (VMware EUC) and Citrix Cloud technologies.
- Deployment and imaging technology troubleshooting.
- Demonstrated experience and qualifications in Microsoft server and desktop technologies (including Exchange, WSUS, MECM).
- Experience in Microsoft PowerShell scripting.
