**About the Opportunity**

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Recreation Officer.

Leigh Place Aged Care has been providing quality aged care services for over 30 years, guided by innovative and compassionate values. Our boutique village style facility is located in Roselands and offers an excellent opportunity for a full-time Recreation Officer to support the emotional and physical wellbeing of our residents.

This role involves planning and delivering a variety of quality activities to maximise the quality of life for each resident. We require someone with a Certificate IV in Leisure & Health who is outgoing, energetic and highly creative.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years previous experience in a similar role and be able to work without direct supervision. They will also hold a current Police Check and be committed to the provision of quality care and continuous improvement.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Plan and deliver quality recreational activities for residents
- Collaborate with colleagues to provide holistic care and support
- Develop and maintain relationships with residents and their families
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development
