Job Title

Develop and implement lifestyle activities to promote social, psychological, recreational cultural and spiritual wellbeing.

About the Role
  • Encourage resident choice and participation in individual and group activities
  • Conduct resident assessments to gain a deeper understanding of each residents preference and needs
  • Plan and implement innovative events and lifestyle activities for residents and where possible involving the wider community, volunteers and residents family and friends
Key Responsibilities
  • Act as team leader providing coaching, supervision and guidance to the lifestyle team
  • Work in a safe manner to protect yourself, your colleagues and residents closely following all policies and procedures
Requirements
  • A kind heart and passion for providing high quality care to the elderly
  • Certificate IV in Leisure and Health or similar
  • Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
  • Strong coaching/training skills
