Job Title: Learning Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced educator to join our team as a Learning Specialist. The successful candidate will be a passionate advocate for improving student learning outcomes, with a strong focus on teaching excellence and collaboration.

The Learning Specialist will work closely with teachers and school leaders to develop and implement high-quality teaching practices, focusing on literacy and numeracy skills across the curriculum. They will also provide expert advice and guidance on assessment and evaluation methods to inform teaching practice and improve student learning growth.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Demonstrate expertise in teaching and learning practices, including teaching demonstration lessons and mentoring and coaching teachers.
  • Model exemplary classroom practice, including through teaching demonstration lessons and providing feedback to other teachers.
  • Lead and model the implementation of whole-school improvement strategies related to curriculum planning and delivery.
  • Develop and deliver professional learning programs for teachers, including processes and protocols for observation and feedback of teacher practice.
