Safety Health & Wellbeing Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and qualified professional to lead our organisation in maintaining a safe, healthy, and inclusive environment for all employees.

About the Role:
  • Provide strategic advice to managers and employees on safety, health, and wellbeing matters.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies and policies to promote workplace health and safety.
  • Maintain key relationships with external providers and suppliers.
  • Conduct training and coaching sessions for managers and staff on best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and review organisational policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legislative and regulatory changes.
  • Provide expert guidance on workplace health and safety matters.
  • Coach and advise managers and employees on risk management and mitigation strategies.
  • Influence and drive change at all levels of the organisation.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field.
  • Excellent understanding of best practice principles and practices.
  • Strong advisory, training, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience in managing WorkCover claims and associated activities.
