Job Description

As a Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) professional, you will play a crucial role in leading, facilitating and implementing the HSE program across our organisation.

The success of this position will be measured by their ability to partner with operational teams to drive improved performance and reinforce the HSE strategy at all levels.

You will be responsible for identifying trends, analysing statistics and collaborating with teams to address safety, health and environmental risks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate health and safety activities to educate and influence employees to achieve a strong safety culture.
  • Develop, implement and monitor procedures and policies to maintain adherence to audit criteria and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, Environment and Workers Compensation acts, regulations and standards.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Health & Safety or equivalent.
  • At least 3 years' experience in a HSE role with formal qualifications desirable.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to engage with stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to build effective relationships at all levels internally and externally.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills to identify issues and provide solutions.
