Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Manager to oversee the delivery of maintenance operations for Gosford and Woy Woy Hospitals and surrounding Community Health Centres.

This role encompasses managing a multidisciplinary team of trade staff to deliver an efficient and effective preventative and corrective maintenance program for plant, machinery, buildings, and grounds.

You will work collaboratively with the Compliance Manager in ensuring that compliance management and reporting occurs for all relevant areas.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A relevant engineering or trade qualification that meets the requirements for eligibility for acceptance as a member of the Institute of Healthcare Engineering, Australia - NSW Branch.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading and managing multidisciplinary maintenance teams in a changing environment and undertaking minor capital works project work within a large healthcare organisation or similar setting.
  • Experience in maintenance of plant and equipment, and management of a planned, preventative and emergency maintenance program to support the efficient delivery of Hospital Services.
  • Solid written communication skills, including report writing and knowledge of relevant legislation and standards. Ability to demonstrate strong commitment to customer focus and service delivery in consultation with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proven experience working with building and infrastructure electronic management systems and using the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • A valid NSW Drivers' Licence and ability to participate in and support the District's After Hours on-call roster.
