Key Responsibilities:- Supervise, lead, mentor, and oversee the kitchen staff.
- Develop seasonal menus that showcase the richness of Indian cuisine.
- Develop menus for events and functions that cater to diverse tastes and preferences.
- Undertake cooking duties to maintain the highest standards of quality and presentation.
- Implement quality control measures to ensure food storage, rotation, quality, and appearance meet our high standards.
- Manage budgets, costs, and inventory levels to optimize our culinary operations.
- Ensure compliance with relevant health regulations and industry standards.
- Meet with customers to gather feedback and improve our services.
- Prior full-time and relevant industry experience of at least 4 years and an associate degree or an advanced diploma or a diploma or a certificate IV or another acceptable qualification in cooking or related.
- An additional 3 years of relevant experience will be considered in lieu of formal qualifications.
- Appropriate rights to work full-time in Australia.
- An in-depth understanding of Indian spices, cooking methods, and techniques.
- Organisational, team management, budgeting skills.
- A high level of personal hygiene.
