We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Early Childhood Education professional to join our team as a Centre Manager at Community Kids Narre Warren.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and supporting a team of Childcare Educators and Teachers, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and education to children ages 6 months to 5 years old.

As a Centre Manager, you will oversee the daily operation of the childcare centre, including staffing, budget management, and communication with parents and stakeholders. You will also lead and support the professional development of the Childcare Educators and Teachers, plan and implement age-appropriate activities and lesson plans, and ensure the safety and well-being of all children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the daily operation of the childcare centre, including staffing, budget management, and communication with parents and stakeholders.
  • Lead and support the professional development of the Childcare Educators and Teachers, including coaching, mentoring, and performance management.
  • Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and lesson plans that support the physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development of each child.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all children at all times, following all policies and procedures.
  • Maintain compliance with all relevant regulations.
Requirements
  • ACECQA approved Diploma (or higher) in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience working in a licensed childcare centre or similar setting, including experience in a leadership role.
  • A current Working with Children Check.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a team and manage multiple tasks and projects effectively.
