Lead a Team of Professionals in Early Childhood Education

We are seeking an experienced Senior Early Childhood Operations Manager to lead our childcare centre and team. This role requires a skilled professional with strong leadership abilities, effective communication skills, and a commitment to providing high-quality care and education for children.

About the Role:

  • Oversee daily operations, including staffing, budget management, and communication with parents and stakeholders.
  • Lead and support the professional development of Childcare Educators and Teachers, including coaching, mentoring, and performance management.
  • Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and lesson plans that support the physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development of each child.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all children at all times, following all policies and procedures.
  • Maintain compliance with all relevant regulations.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive culture that promotes teamwork and respect for diversity.

Key Requirements:

  • Acecqa-approved Diploma (or higher) in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience working in a licensed childcare centre or similar setting, including experience in a leadership role.
  • A current Working with Children Check.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a team and manage multiple tasks and projects effectively.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development.
