Role Summary

This is a full-time, fixed-term appointment in the School of Biosciences within the Faculty of Science.

Main Responsibilities and Objectives
  • Conduct cutting-edge research in reproductive biology using advanced genetic manipulation techniques.
  • Lead collaborative research projects and ensure timely completion of objectives.
  • Analyse data, prepare manuscripts for publication, and present findings at scientific meetings and conferences.
  • Mentor and supervise students and junior researchers to foster a productive research environment.
Qualifications and Skills Required
  • PhD in molecular biology, cell biology, genetics, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in construct design and genetic manipulation techniques.
  • Experience maintaining multiple cell lines and conducting immunofluorescence and confocal microscopy.
  • Strong publication record and ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
