This role requires expertise in business analytics, pricing frameworks, and strategic recommendations to support our competitive edge.

Pricing Strategy & Commercial Analysis:

  • Develop and refine pricing models that maximize revenue and profitability across our product offerings.
  • Conduct in-depth market analysis to assess competitive pricing, market trends, and customer behavior, recommending data-driven pricing adjustments.
  • Provide insights to support commercial pricing decisions, enhancing our position within target markets.

Data Analysis & Reporting:

  • Collect and analyze data from various sources (e.g., sales, finance, customer insights) to assess pricing effectiveness and revenue impact.
  • Create regular reports and dashboards on pricing performance, tracking key metrics, trends, and any pricing discrepancies.

Collaboration with Cross-functional Teams:

  • Partner closely with product, sales, marketing, and finance teams to align pricing strategies with overall business objectives.
  • Facilitate discussions with stakeholders to ensure cohesive and strategic pricing practices across teams.

Process Improvement & Governance:

  • Identify opportunities to streamline pricing processes, improving efficiency and agility in pricing decision-making.
  • Establish pricing governance processes and ensure adherence to company policies and industry standards.

Estimated Salary: AU$80,000 - AU$110,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in a commercial analyst or pricing strategy role within media, advertising, or a related sector, with strong commercial and market acumen.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field, with proven financial modeling, scenario analysis, and problem-solving expertise.
  • Advanced proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel and Power BI, with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy in data interpretation and reporting.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work independently and engage collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Capable of managing multiple projects and deadlines, with a results-focused mindset and a proactive, team-oriented approach.
