Position Overview

As a seasoned hospitality leader, you will spearhead the Food and Beverage team in operations across conferences and events within the hotel. You will inspire your team to create memorable experiences with passion and care for guests.

Main Responsibilities

  • Leading & supervising the Food and Beverage team in operations across conferences and events within the hotel.
  • Ensuring that catering & event operations are delivered to a high standard.
  • Developing operating procedures & service standards for Conference & Events department operations.
  • Collaborating with the Conference & Events team + Director of Culinary and Food & beverage Operations to ensure high performance in conference operations.
  • Ensuring that strategies and practices are in place to achieve financial and service quality targets.
  • Cultivating a team that works together with trust and takes responsibility to meet the goals of the department / Hotel.

Requirements

  • Management / Supervisory experience within a multi-faceted Food & Beverage environment.
  • Familiarity & experience in event management & banquet operations.
  • Proven ability to manage food, beverage and wage costs.
  • Flexibility and availability on the floor during peak periods of service.
  • Exceptional staff management and leadership skills.
  • Inspirational, highly motivated, has impeccable attention to detail, has a high energy management approach and most importantly works hands on with their team to achieve exceptional results.
  • A current WA Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate and a valid visa with relevant working rights in Australia are a must.
