Support Care Worker

We are seeking a compassionate Support Care Worker to join our team in the Hurstville and Bankstown regions. This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive difference in the lives of seniors and their families.

About the Role:

You will provide support and care to clients in their homes, assisting with daily tasks and activities that promote independence and well-being. You will be an integral part of each client's Circle of Care, working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients with daily living tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients and their families
  • Assist clients with mobility and transfers
  • Administer medications and treatments as directed by clients' healthcare providers
  • Monitor and report any changes in clients' condition or behavior
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions and care provided

The Ideal Candidate:

We are looking for a Support Care Worker who possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, families, and colleagues. You should have a strong commitment to delivering high-quality care and a passion for making a positive impact on people's lives.

Requirements:

  • Have a Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent qualification
  • Hold a current First Aid certificate
  • Have a reliable vehicle and a valid driver's license
  • Be willing to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
  • Have a laptop or tablet and mobile phone to access client information and communicate with colleagues
