We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Medical Information Specialist to join our team.

About the Role:

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in medical information to support healthcare professionals and patients with essential product information. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling medical information enquiries via phone and from sales force, as well as collaborating cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities:
  • Handle medical information enquiries via phone and from sales force
  • Be a second-in-command to the Medical Information Team based in Malaysia
  • Respond appropriately to adverse event reports in compliance with regulatory standards
  • Utilize cloud-based platforms (e.g., VEEVA) to manage information and documentation
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders
Requirements:
  • Pharmacy or nursing background
  • Previous experience of 2-5 years in medical information
  • Familiarity with therapeutic areas such as diabetes and oncology
  • Exposure to VEEVA or similar cloud-based platforms
  • Ability to work autonomously in a smaller, fast-paced local team setting
