Job Title: Financial Operations SpecialistAbout the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Treasury Accountant to join our finance team in Perth, Australia. As a key member of our collaborative finance team, you will be responsible for managing the treasury function for a major project.

Your primary focus will be on overseeing project banking operations, ensuring client and supplier payment terms are met, and providing cash flow reporting and forecasting. You will also be responsible for maintaining vendor payments reports and providing timely analysis and reporting on liquidity, identifying any potential risks.

  • Oversight of project banking operations, ensuring compliance with client and supplier payment terms.
  • Ensuring required approvals are in place per the Power of Attorney (POA) before bank execution.
  • Providing accurate and timely cash flow reporting and forecasting for the project.
  • Supporting month end processes, assisting with financial reporting cycles.
  • Maintaining accurate vendor payments reports.
  • Providing timely analysis and reporting on liquidity, identifying potential risks.
Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Tertiary qualification in Accounting or a related field.
  • Membership to the Institute of Chartered Accountants or CPA Australia.
  • A minimum of 3 years' post-qualification experience is desirable.
  • Project Bank Account (PBA) experience on a Construction Contract is strongly desirable.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems, preferably SAP.
  • Strong analytical, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet strict compliance deadlines.
