Nurse Specialist for Maternal Care
Overview of the RoleThis position entails providing high-quality nursing care to patients in the maternal ward. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and assessing patient conditions, administering medication as required, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver comprehensive care to antepartum and postpartum patients, focusing on early detection and management of complications.
- Administer medications as prescribed by medical staff, ensuring adherence to hospital protocols and regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of patient assessments, treatments, and outcomes.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans that address specific patient needs and goals.
- Valid RN license and certification in ACLS, BLS, NRP, and Fetal Monitoring.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in maternal care, preferably in a tertiary hospital setting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with capacity to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
