Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled nurse to join our team in providing exceptional patient care for antepartum and postpartum patients. The ideal candidate will have experience working with telemetry or continuous pulse oximetry, administering postpartum magnesium as ordered, and interpreting dysrhythmias to support patient monitoring and care.

Responsibilities
  • Provide nursing care for high-risk pregnant women and new mothers; monitor patients using telemetry or continuous pulse oximetry to ensure their safety and well-being.
  • Administer medications as prescribed by physicians, including postpartum magnesium, and closely monitor patients for any adverse reactions.
  • Use advanced skills in interpreting cardiac rhythms and electrocardiograms (ECGs) to diagnose and treat arrhythmias.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to coordinate patient care and manage complex medical conditions, such as preterm labor, fetal distress, and preeclampsia.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of practice.
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), and Fetal Monitoring certifications.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in maternal-fetal medicine or neonatal intensive care units (NICUs).
  • Epic system experience and proficiency in electronic health records (EHRs).
  • Demonstrated expertise in interpreting cardiac rhythms and ECGs, as well as administering postpartum magnesium and managing patients with complex medical conditions.

Additional Information
