The Security Officer role is a critical position responsible for providing security presence at the University and delivering excellent customer service to students, staff, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct regular foot patrols of campuses, ensuring a safe and secure environment;
- Escort individuals around the campus, providing assistance and guidance;
- Ensure property is locked and unlocked as required, maintaining a secure environment;
- Direct and assist individuals in navigating the campus, promoting a positive experience;
- Write reports in response to incidents, maintaining accurate records;
- Communicate effectively with key stakeholders, ensuring clear and concise information.
- Hold a current Victorian Security Licence;
- Hold a Certificate II in Security Operations;
- Hold a current Valid First Aid Certificate (Level 2);
- Hold a Working With Children Check;
- Hold a current full driver's license.
- A competitive salary range of $74,000 to $95,000 per year;
- Five weeks of annual leave;
