Seeking a highly skilled and motivated General Surgery Fellow to join our dynamic team at Gold Coast Health.

Job Description

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a variety of settings, including acute surgery units, and will be responsible for managing patients under the supervision of consultants.

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership and teaching skills, with the ability to provide guidance and support to junior members of the department.

In addition to their clinical responsibilities, the successful candidate will also be involved in research activities, with the aim of publishing at least one paper within six months.

Requirements
  • Bachelor of Medicine / Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent recognised qualification registrable with the Medical Board of Australia
  • AHPRA Registration
  • Ability to work a 7-day per week, 24-hour roster
  • Eligibility to work across Gold Coast Hospital and Health Service
