Our team of dedicated healthcare professionals offers collaborative and specialist telehealth services across a wide range of specialties, including Allergy and Immunology, Cardiology, Endocrinology, Gastroenterology, Geriatrics, Infectious Diseases, Neurology, Psychiatry (General, Geriatric, Child & Adolescent), Pain Management, Palliative Care, Respiratory and Sleep Medicine, Rheumatology, Urology, and more.

We also provide Allied Healthcare services via telehealth to NDIS participants, offering Counselling, Psychology, Speech Pathology, Occupational Therapy, Exercise Physiology, and Mental Health Social Work.

About the Role

We're looking for a passionate General Practitioner to provide compassionate care to aged care residents in the tropical paradise of Cairns. In this role, you'll work on-site at aged care facilities, where you'll make a meaningful impact on residents' lives, surrounded by the breathtaking landscapes and warm, vibrant community Cairns is known for. This area offers an incredible blend of natural beauty—from lush rainforests to stunning coastlines—and fosters a close-knit, supportive atmosphere where healthcare professionals are highly valued.

You'll be fully supported by a dedicated team, including a full-time nurse, geriatrician, and skilled administrative staff. Your days will be enriched by engaging consultations and patient reviews, providing a steady, rewarding pace with the opportunity to immerse yourself in the unique surroundings and become an integral part of the Cairns healthcare community.

Requirements

  • General or Specialist AHPRA registration without conditions. Overseas applicants need not apply.
  • Proficiency in system-based reporting and familiarity with various software packages preferred.
  • A personal laptop is required to perform the duties of this position.
