About the Role

We are recruiting a Corporate Banking Associate to join our Financing and Advisory team in Sydney, Australia. The successful candidate will support the origination and execution of structured finance transactions, with a focus on the energy and renewables sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain financial models for advisory mandates, including creating and running financial scenarios and sensitivities.
  • Review and supervise financial modeling tasks undertaken by junior staff, and complete more complex modeling tasks where required.
  • Stay up-to-date with sector developments and market trends, and identify potential marketing opportunities.
  • Provide day-to-day transaction support, including structuring, pricing, and due diligence analyses.
  • Manage internal processes and ensure compliance with relevant practices and requirements.

Requirements

  • University degree in a relevant discipline, such as finance, engineering, or business.
  • Postgraduate qualifications considered advantageous.
  • 3-5 years' experience in a similar role, with expertise in energy and renewables finance.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience with financial modeling.
  • Strong numerical skills and understanding of accounting concepts.
