History/Geography Teaching Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and experienced History/Geography teacher to join our team. This is a full-time contract position starting Term 1, 2026.

The successful applicant will be able to teach stages 4 and 5 History and Geography, with recent experience teaching History and Geography across Years 7-12. They will have enthusiasm for the subject and the ability to inspire secondary students, as well as knowledge of recent developments in senior secondary pedagogy.

The ideal candidate will possess outstanding interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with colleagues. They will also be confident in using technology and willing to incorporate it into learning, with a strong commitment to the school's Christian mission, values, and ethos.

  • Ability to teach stages 4 and 5 History and Geography
  • Recent experience teaching History and Geography across Years 7-12
  • Enthusiasm for the subject and the ability to inspire secondary students
  • Knowledge of recent developments in senior secondary pedagogy, especially as it applies to their subject area
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with colleagues
  • Confidence in using technology and willingness to incorporate it into learning
  • Understanding and commitment to the school's Christian mission, values, and ethos

Experience teaching the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme (MYP) and Diploma Programme (DP) is advantageous but not required.
