Are you a strategic business leader looking to drive growth and innovation in the energy and resources sector?
MinterEllison is seeking an experienced Senior Market Growth Manager to join our national Client & Market Growth team. In this role, you will play a key part in developing and executing business development and marketing strategies to deliver profitable growth for our business and clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute industry strategic plans in collaboration with key partners and stakeholders.
- Work closely with industry leaders, lawyers, and consultants to set and lead strategy, and prioritise execution and collaboration.
- Subject matter expertise in the energy and resources industry, including key matters, deals, stakeholders, influencers, competitors, market position, and client footprint.
- Coach partners and lawyers on strategic business development advice.
- Lead pitches and collaborate with Client Market Growth Business Unit colleagues to apply industry insights to bids.
- Drive client conversations to maintain client intelligence, nurture relationships, and uphold service excellence.
- Identify opportunities across business units, priority areas, clients, and geographies, and support the formation of cross-business unit teams to pursue opportunities and strengthen pipeline.
- Qualify and develop high-quality client-facing materials and precedents with compelling value propositions.
- Collaborate with brand and marketing teams to validate, design, and deliver client and market engagement strategies.
- Prioritise industry objectives through the delivery of integrated marketing campaigns, events, thought leadership, sponsorships, and industry partnerships.
- Demonstrate return on investment and establish internal and external networks.
- Apply commercial lenses to industry and client development, reporting on financial performance to enhance decision making.
Requirements:
- Tertiary qualifications in marketing, business, or a related discipline.
- 7+ years' experience in business development or equivalent work experience.
- Experience in a professional services environment will be well regarded, as will experience and understanding of the energy and resources industry.
