Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must have:

  • A minimum 3 years' experience in a data engineering or advanced SQL development role
  • Strong SQL Development and Optimisation Skills: Proven ability to write, troubleshoot, and optimise complex SQL queries and stored procedures
  • Hands-on Experience with Azure Data Tools: Practical experience using Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, and Azure Synapse for data integration and pipeline development
  • ETL/Data Pipeline Development Expertise: Demonstrated ability to build, maintain, and optimise scalable ETL/ELT processes across diverse data sources
Desirable Skills

Highly regarded skills include:

  • Experience with Power BI: Familiarity with building datasets and supporting report development using Power BI
  • Knowledge of Payment/Reconciliation File Structures: Experience working with financial data, particularly generating or processing DEX or similar files
  • Understanding of the Aged Care or Community Services Sector: Awareness of sector-specific data needs, compliance requirements, or service models
