Job Title: HVAC Design Engineer and Business Development Specialist

Fusion Modulair is an industry-leading HVAC business known for installing unique patented air conditioning systems for prominent brands. As we continue to expand in Australia and internationally, we are looking for a skilled HVAC Design Engineer and Business Development Specialist to join our dynamic team and help us grow our market share.

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic individual with a strong background in HVAC design engineering and client-facing engagement to join our growing team. In this role, you will work closely with builders, consultants, tenants, and developers in the Victorian HVAC industry. You will leverage your industry knowledge and strong communication skills to help drive success and growth for our company.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Design and Develop Innovative HVAC Systems: Collaborate closely with our design teams to design and develop innovative HVAC systems that meet client needs.
  2. Engage with Clients: Engage with clients to thoroughly understand their requirements and offer tailored technical solutions to meet their specific challenges.
  3. Capture New Business Opportunities: Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities to expand our market presence and drive growth.
  4. Project Execution: Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless project execution from design through to successful delivery.
  5. Client Relationships: Cultivate and maintain strong long-term relationships with key clients ensuring their satisfaction and fostering repeat business.
  6. Proposal and Project Documentation: Assist in the preparation of proposals quotes and project documentation to ensure accuracy and alignment with client expectations.
  7. Industry Knowledge: Apply a working knowledge of relevant NCC sections industry standards and regulations pertaining to HVAC systems and the built environment ensuring full compliance with all legislative requirements.
  8. Industry Trends: Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies to promote innovation and maintain our competitive edge in the HVAC market.
Requirements:
  1. Minimum 5 years of experience in business development and client engagement including a mix of HVAC design engineering and customer service/proposal submissions.
  2. In-depth knowledge of the Victorian HVAC industry with established connections with builders consultants tenants and developers.
  3. A dynamic engineer with a strong mindset passion for innovation and eagerness to learn.
  4. Proven ability to combine engineering expertise to successfully manage projects from HVAC design and construction from proposal to completion.
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and build rapport with clients at all levels.
  6. Strong problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for detail and commitment to quality.
  7. A self-starter who thrives working autonomously but also excels in collaborative team environments.
