Job Title: Business Development Manager/Design Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and passionate business development/design engineer to join our dynamic team in Victoria.

Role Overview:

This role requires an experienced and dynamic business development manager with a strong background in HVAC design engineering and client-facing engagement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Innovative Design Solutions: Collaborate with our design teams to create innovative HVAC systems tailored to meet client needs.
  • Client Engagement: Engage with clients to understand their requirements, offering technical solutions to meet their specific challenges.
  • New Business Opportunities: Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities to expand market presence and drive growth.
  • Project Execution: Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless project execution from design through to successful delivery.
  • Clients Relationship: Cultivate and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients, ensuring satisfaction and fostering repeat business.
  • Proposal and Documentation: Assist in preparing proposals, quotes, and project documentation to ensure accuracy and alignment with client expectations.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in business development and client engagement, including a mix of HVAC design engineering and customer service/proposal submissions.
  • In-depth knowledge of the Victorian HVAC industry, with established connections with builders, consultants, tenants, and developers.
  • A dynamic engineer with a strong mindset, a passion for innovation, and an eagerness to learn.
  • Proven ability to combine engineering expertise to successfully manage projects from HVAC design and construction, from proposal to completion.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and build rapport with clients at all levels.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail and commitment to quality.
  • A self-starter who thrives working autonomously but also excels in collaborative team environments.
