Content Producer

We are seeking a skilled Content Producer to join our Editorial team.

The ideal candidate will create engaging content across various sub-sections, including news, politics, sport, and real-life stories.

The role requires:

  • Pitching, writing, and publishing content for digital platforms.
  • Monitoring media platforms for breaking news and major events.
  • Reviewing and editing content for grammar, clarity, accuracy, and style adherence.
  • Conducting fact-checking, source verification, and original research to ensure content credibility.
  • Developing original story ideas, conducting interviews, and building key relationships to generate quality stories.
  • Commissioning and sourcing content, collaborating with our daily news podcast.

This is a full-time position that requires strong communication skills, adaptability, and creativity. The ideal candidate will be a team player who takes ownership of responsibilities, communicates effectively, and demonstrates ability to adapt and drive process improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities include:

  • Writing engaging headlines
  • Creating social assets
  • Optimizing articles for SEO

Qualifications: Minimum two years of experience as a content producer for a digital publisher and proven experience using social platforms to distribute content.
