Job Title: Senior Project Engineer

  • Oversee the delivery of telecommunications infrastructure projects as a senior project engineer.

We are a national technology and infrastructure specialist delivering large-scale telecommunications and digital connectivity projects across various sectors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead engineering delivery across assigned projects.
  • Coordinate multi-disciplinary engineering resources and stakeholders.
  • Manage engineering schedules, risks, priorities, and deliverables.
  • Represent engineering in project meetings with clients and project managers.
  • Conduct design reviews and Safety in Design processes.
  • Draft and review scopes for subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Support on-site activities including installation and commissioning.
  • Mentor junior engineers and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or related).
  • 8+ years' experience in engineering delivery within EPC environments.
  • Background in telecommunications, mining, oil & gas, or defence sectors.
  • Expertise in project controls, change management, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Proven ability to interpret technical scopes and deliver to schedule.
  • Strong knowledge of design, commissioning, and construction processes.
  • Confident managing subcontractors and technical queries.
  • Chartered or eligible for MIEAust/CPEng (highly regarded).
