About Our Client

Our client is a national technology and infrastructure specialist delivering large-scale telecommunications and digital connectivity projects across mining, resources and remote operations sectors. They are known for their innovation, field capability and strong engineering culture.

Job Description

  • Oversee engineering delivery across assigned telecommunications infrastructure projects
  • Coordinate multi-disciplinary engineering resources and internal/external stakeholders
  • Manage engineering schedule, risks, priorities and deliverables
  • Represent engineering in project meetings with clients and PMs
  • Lead design reviews and Safety in Design processes
  • Prepare and review scopes for subcontractors and suppliers
  • Support on-site activities including installation and commissioning
  • Mentor junior engineers and support continuous improvement initiatives

The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior Project Engineer should have:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or related)
  • 8+ years' experience in engineering delivery within EPC or related environments
  • Background in telecommunications, mining, oil & gas or defence sectors
  • Skilled in engineering project controls, change management, and stakeholder engagement
  • Proven ability to interpret technical scopes and deliver to schedule
  • Strong knowledge of design, commissioning, and construction processes
  • Confident managing subcontractors and technical queries
  • Chartered or eligible for MIEAust/CPEng (highly regarded)
