Job Summary

As a Mechanical Coordinator, you will play a vital role in our refinery's maintenance operations. With your mechanical maintenance expertise and sound knowledge, you will be responsible for planning, scheduling, and executing all mechanical related maintenance tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing technical support to the Mechanical Maintenance team
  • Guiding execution priorities inline with risk, compliance, and operational demands
  • SUPPORTING ESCALATIONS IN THE EXECUTION OF UNPLANNED REACTIVE WORK WHEN REQUIRED
  • Identifying and implementing growth and continuous improvement opportunities
  • Forecasting and defining work for inclusion in the forward planning cycle
  • Coordinating multidiscipline teams during minor outage events
  • Overseeing the management and reporting of equipment to minimise unavailable and unhealthy equipment
  • Management and reporting of the overspeed RFE database
  • Resolving maintenance-related URB items
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience in the petroleum industry or hazardous facility is desirable (not essential)
  • Tertiary/Trade qualifications in engineering or trade discipline
  • Cert III in Process Plan operations is desirable
  • Strong mechanical maintenance background
  • Proficient in SAP
  • Safety-focused
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
