Mechanical engineers play a vital role in maintaining and servicing complex mechanical systems across various industries.

About the Job

This position involves delivering work orders, including fault finding, repairs, and servicing of mechanical equipment across a large network.

Our team delivers preventative, corrective, and reactive maintenance services to critical assets that serve our local communities.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform and deliver allocated mechanical work orders from maintenance plans
  • Service, repair, and inspect assets such as pumps, gearboxes, actuators, cranes & winches etc
  • Perform administrative tasks and document work progression in the computerized maintenance management system
  • Travel and commute to relevant assets across the network
  • Ensure adherence to safety, compliance, policy, and procedures
  • Reporting activities relating to works planned, completed, risks, and issues

Requirements:

  • Experience in mechanical trade across large maintenance programs and networks
  • Current C Class Driver Licence
  • Trade Mechanical certificate
  • CPR Certification (HLTAID001)
  • First Aid Certification (HLTAID003)
  • Gas Test Atmosphere Certification
  • Confined Space Entry Certification (RIIWHS202E)
  • Working at Heights Certification (RIIWHS204E)
