Project Development Analyst

 

The Sydney Metro team is seeking a skilled and experienced project development analyst to join our fast-paced and supportive environment. As a project development analyst, you will play a critical role in driving evidence-based decision making to optimize systems and efficiency for the business and our customers.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support project development activities for Sydney Metro's business case pipelines.
  • Undertake analysis of land use, housing, and transport demand data to inform project business cases.
  • Conduct research on wider transport and land use policy to support consistency with state and local planning strategies.
  • Provide project management, communication, and administrative services to contribute to project milestones.
  • Support the development of integrated strategies and solutions to achieve safe, reliable, efficient, and sustainable metro projects that meet customer needs.

 

About You:

  • Highly organized with excellent project planning skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, highly complex environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team.
  • Relevant project development or business case development experience.
  • Demonstrated interest in strategic planning or early planning for major infrastructure.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of planning issues, trends, and NSW Government key strategic directions.
  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field.
  • GIS mapping capability or experience desirable.
