We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our team.
About the Role:
This role involves supporting client relationships with high-profile organisations and dynamic, multi-generational family groups.
- Identify and manage tax issues such as Division 7A loans, FBT, CGT events, SBE & depreciation concessions.
- Undertake periodic management reporting, budgeting, forecasting on a monthly, quarterly or annual basis as required.
- Prepare financial statements, activity statements and tax returns for all entity types and individuals with minimal supervision.
- Utilise leadership capabilities to coach and motivate junior team members.
About You:
We are looking for someone who wants to be a long-term, valued member of the team.
Key Requirements:
- 2+ years' experience in a similar role.
- Candidate with CPA/CA qualifications.
- Knowledge of Australian taxation legislation and accounting reporting requirements.
- Experience assisting with the management of a large client portfolio base.
- Technical focus and ability to self-motivate and work autonomously.
- Ambition to develop as a leader, utilising leadership qualities to mentor junior team members.
- Unwavering interest in client service and ability to understand client needs.
