About This Role

This is a role that offers the chance to make a real difference in people's lives. By providing support and companionship to clients, you can help them maintain their independence and live at home for as long as possible.

As a community worker, you will be responsible for assisting with day-to-day tasks, such as cleaning, tidying, washing, and other duties outlined in the client's care plan. You will also transport clients to appointments and shopping, prepare meals, and provide social support or respite for family members or carers.

Additionally, you may be required to assist with personal care tasks, such as showering and dressing, if you are qualified or fully trained to do so.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing high-quality care and support to older Australians in the community
  • Assisting with daily tasks and activities, including household chores and personal care
  • Transporting clients to appointments and shopping
  • Preparing meals and snacks
  • Providing social support or respite for family members or carers
Requirements:
  • A genuine passion for delivering exceptional care and support to others
  • Comfortable interacting with people from diverse backgrounds and ages
  • A reliable and flexible team player
  • Understanding of workplace health and safety protocols
  • Current Australian driver's license and access to a registered motor vehicle
