About Us:

Position Overview:
As a Companion Care Worker, you will provide non-medical assistance and emotional support to clients in their homes. Your role will focus on enhancing their quality of life through companionship, light household tasks, and assistance with daily activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide companionship by engaging clients in conversation, hobbies, or activities they enjoy.
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks such as tidying, laundry, and meal preparation.
- Support clients with errands, grocery shopping, or transportation to appointments.
- Promote client independence while ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Communicate regularly with the care team and family members regarding the client’s needs and well-being.
Qualifications:
- Compassionate, patient, and empathetic demeanor.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and organized.
- Previous experience in caregiving, home care, or related field preferred but not required.
- Ability to pass a background check and provide professional references.
- Driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
- Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support.
