Job Title: Care Companion

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a care companion. As a member of our caregiving team, you will play a vital role in improving the quality of life for our clients.

About the Role

Our ideal candidate is someone who possesses excellent communication skills, empathy, and a passion for delivering high-quality care. You will be responsible for assisting clients with their daily needs, providing companionship, and supporting them in maintaining their independence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Prepare meals and snacks, and assist with feeding as needed
  • Accompany clients on outings and provide emotional support
  • Monitor and report any changes in client health or wellbeing
  • Respond to emergency situations

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent qualification
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • National Police Check (valid within the last 3 years)
  • First Aid Certification (Valid within the last 12 months)
