**Job Summary**

We are seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to join our client's team, specializing in fit-out and refurbishment projects within the construction industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyzing project specifications and blueprints to comprehend project requirements.
  • Collaborating closely with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to gather essential information for accurate estimates.
  • Producing comprehensive cost estimates, encompassing materials, labour, equipment, and overhead costs.
  • Conducting meticulous research to obtain current pricing for materials and subcontractor services.
  • Leveraging industry knowledge to identify potential cost-saving measures while upholding quality standards.
  • Effectively presenting and articulating estimates to internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Actively participating in bid reviews and engaging in negotiations with clients.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as an Estimator in fit-out and refurbishment construction.
  • In-depth understanding of construction processes, materials, and methodologies.
  • Proficiency in interpreting construction drawings and specifications.
  • Exceptional analytical and mathematical skills.
  • Detail-oriented, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and negotiation capabilities.
  • Preferably holds a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
