Assembling Mobile Lighting Towers

This role involves working with electricians and mechanics to assemble and fit out mobile lighting towers and power generation equipment in a Landsdale workshop.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling components using nuts, bolts & washers, and specialized power and hand tools/air tools for specific fasteners. They will also follow written and drawing instructions on sub-assembly items and identify faulty parts for reporting purposes.

This is a Monday-Friday position with normal hours, overtime, and penalty rates available during the contract duration.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a trades assistant or working with hand and power tools
  • Ability to pass a drug and alcohol test
  • Own personal protective equipment (steel capped boots and long pants)

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assemble mobile lighting towers
  2. Use specialized power and hand tools/air tools for specific fasteners
  3. Follow written and drawing instructions on sub-assembly items
  4. Identify faulty parts and report correctly
