Job Title: Assembly Technician
We are seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the dismantle, clean and inspect processes of mechanical seals.
About the Role:
- The Assembly Technician will work with precision inspection equipment to measure dimensions of components, making an as-found report.
- They will assemble and test cartridge seals to specifications.
- The role involves disassembling, cleaning, and inspecting mechanical seals using bead-blasting and other cleaning equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Read and understand technical drawings related to mechanical parts assembly.
- Perform safe work practices while handling equipment.
- Maintain high-quality standards in assembled products.
- Work effectively in a team environment.
- Develop problem-solving skills to overcome production challenges.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Fitter Machinist or equivalent trade qualification.
- Some level of experience in fitting mechanical parts.
- Safe work attitude.
- Exhibit behavior that encourages teamwork, problem-solving, and continuous improvement.
- Basic computer knowledge.
Preferred Experience/Skills:
- Pump and seal repair experience.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
