Digital Disputes Lawyer

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Digital Disputes Lawyer to join our innovative and market leading practice group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for working on high-profile matters across multiple practice areas, leveraging advanced technology and AI tools in the legal market.

Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and mentor junior team members on document-intensive aspects of Disputes matters.
  • Conduct document review and legally complex tasks including evidence preparation, claims assessment, and supporting clients directly.
  • Lead fee-earning projects and escalate to senior solicitors and managers as required.
  • Develop others through briefing, providing feedback, and training to junior team members.
  • Collaborate with colleagues nationally and globally, as well as expert lawyers across the firm.
  • Support the design and implementation of tech-driven improvements and processes to drive efficiencies and innovation.

Qualifications and Experience:
  • Unrestricted practicing certificate in the relevant Australian jurisdiction.
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience, ideally with 6 months in dispute resolution/litigation.
  • Experience with large-scale doc review processes, preferably using Relativity.
  • Experience using generative AI/legal technology and an interest in NewLaw.
  • Excellent attention to detail, ability to review, analyse, and organise documentary and factual evidence.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Experience supervising graduates or paralegals and openly sharing knowledge to foster development within the team.
