Job Title: Senior Associate Dispute Resolution SpecialistAbout the Role:This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading dispute resolution team in Brisbane as a Senior Associate. As a key member of the team, you will have the chance to take your career to the next level by delivering innovative solutions in commercial litigation, domestic and international arbitration, and specialist tribunals.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Advise on complex commercial litigation matters, including national and cross-border disputes.
  • Work closely with partners to manage matters from inception through to resolution.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate legal documentation and submissions, ensuring alignment with best practice and client objectives.
  • Provide leadership and mentoring to junior team members while managing your own matters independently.
  • Contribute to business development initiatives, client networking, and professional development programs.
  • Participate in team knowledge-sharing and thought leadership initiatives.
Requirements:
  • You will be a Senior Associate with 4+ years' experience in dispute resolution, preferably gained in a top-tier or mid-tier firm, or in-house.
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation, and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • A commercial mindset with the ability to articulate and negotiate effectively.
  • Ability to work collaboratively, lead and mentor junior team members, and manage matters independently.
  • A proactive, positive, and energetic approach, committed to providing excellent service and building client relationships.
